Not your typical Japanese town, even in far northern Hokkaido. Windswept, unpretentious, down-to-earth. Fishing, farming, and government seem to be the mainstays of the economy after the summer visitors go home.

Very convenient location. A nice place to stay.

We stayed a total of 6D5N and housekeeping was only done ONCE on the 4th day throughout the entire stay. It gets pretty dusty and messy Though thrash is cleared and towels changed daily just by leaving it at the door. Convenience is the washer+dryer and “kitchenette” with crockery and cutlery provided. ...

Clean and spacious room, good location. I would have given 5 star if not for the fact it does not give extra pillow. Perhaps the hotel should really consider giving extra pillow.
