We had a room with our own private pool and it was marvellous. It was modern and spacious and immaculate. Joy, the housekeeper, was an absolute delight and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast had a good selection and everything was fresh and beautifully made.
I would definitely book a return visit.
We were not overly impressed with the hotel because it was too far away from Naxos Hora. We did rent a car and went to different beaches. The beach was not a beach you could swim at as it has these huge flat pieces of rocks in the water. The breakfast was good along with the service. The staff were very nice. They
The staff of this hotel are amazing! Great ideas on things to do and ways to get there. They treat you like family and make everything special!
Balcony with the water view was gorgeous. This hotel is in a quiet part of the island. However, it is also very close to two incredible beaches that you have to walk into. I would recommend a car if you are staying at this hotel as it is far from other things. The breakfast is delightful and the staff really care about you and the other guest.
Amazing property for our family vacation of 21. The family oriented staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We stayed for 5 days, 3rd week of September. We stayed in Room 111.
The staff were all wonderful, especially reception and breakfast. The location is very good and peaceful on the South west coast, even though the beach immediately opposite is not that good - quite rocky. Nearby are good beaches and coves to walk to, and a few nearby tavernas which were good.
Of concerns.
On arrival in our room :
Secure Safe did not work. It took a day to sort.
Light in bathroom did not work. Despite reporting this, it was not / could not be fixed.
The mosquito net in the bathroom window was broken and could not work.
Hot water took 5 minutes to come through. A lot of wasted water.
The plug in the bathroom basin did not work.
These items should’ve been checked and dealt with by the cleaning and maintenance team before the room was handed over.
In addition - the room is next to the Kitchen ! At 6 every morning we were woken up by kitchen operations - this was a really bad experience, and they should warn people before anyone takes this room. We found this really quite disturbing.
Nice hotel, quiet / good location, very good staff, but the hotel room experience we had felt like it was badly fatigued, and despite reporting issues, it took too long or not at all to fix things.
Disappointed.
We enjoyed our stay in Finikas Hotel in Naxos, it is an amazing hotel and great choice for quiet gateway. All staff members went above and beyond to look after guests. Whilst location is away from Naxos town you can easily hire a car and commute around island. Pool area was spotless and well maintained. Rooms are perfect and so is the room service.
We would definitely return to this hotel.
Wonderful hotel to escape the crowded beaches and town of Naxos. Very peaceful, beautiful beach in front of the hotel with walking to other beaches. Hotel breakfast is very nice and the restaurant/ breakfast seating area has a great view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect place to escape and relax.

I gave this property 5/5 for the incredible staff and the breathtaking views. The team was genuinely kind, welcoming, and one of the highlights of our stay.
Unfortunately, there were several disappointments that future guests should know about.
The biggest issue was the location. The hotel is on the quieter side of the island, far from the main attractions and nightlife. More importantly, the hotel’s “private beach” is not suitable for swimming because it is covered with large rocks. If you’re expecting a sandy beach, you’ll be disappointed. The nearest swimmable sandy beach is about a 15-minute walk away, or you’ll need to rent a car and drive to another area.
The hotel itself also feels dated. While it is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are noticeably older and could benefit from renovations.
I also relied on Expedia’s ratings when booking this property. After sharing my concerns during my stay, I was disappointed that Expedia was unable to offer any meaningful assistance or alternative accommodations. That experience has made me question how much I can rely on their ratings in the future.
If you decide to stay here, I strongly recommend renting a car so you can enjoy the island’s beautiful beaches and explore the surrounding towns. Without one, you’ll likely miss out on much of what makes the destination so special.
The setting of the hotel is gorgeous. The grounds and facilities are maintained to perfection. The rooms were abundantly spacious (we had several rooms in our group). The staff is extremely accommodating, like visiting old friends. The restaurant in the hotel had exceptional food in a beautiful setting. The beach is very private, with nice chairs and bamboo umbrellas. We have visited Greece on five occasions, and this was our favorite spot.
Stunning hotel on a beautiful and nearly private beach in middle of a national park! We stayed in the family suites that include large yards, some with a pool. I would definitely stay there again. The only issue we experienced is that there was no internet due to the remote location. But we enjoyed the peace that brought. You definitely need to rent a car to stay here, but everthing is within 15-30 minute drive.
Paradise within paradise. When my partner and I arrived that was our first impression. Then when we left that impression did not change. Naxos itself is a beautiful rural island and Finikas fits right in as it’s own little private experience on the southern side of the island. With beautiful amenities that compliment its location and the beaches only a few steps away, I don’t know where else we would want to stay upon returning to Naxos in the future
This hotel was much further away from things than we thought but that was on us booking it. They are actually pretty close to Hawaii and Aliko beach but there’s not much else around except for some restaurants (Faros is really good). Pool closes early too. It was pretty windy so we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we liked to but for the price it was worth it. Though the gym was pretty small and the WiFi in the rooms is pretty crummy. Also our sink got clogged and we were only there for three days. The staff was pretty helpful though and booked us dinner reservations and made sure we had transportation to and from the port. If you’re looking for a getaway from everything and to be near nice beaches definitely check this place out.
We spent 7 day at Finikas Beach Hotel and had a wonderful stay there. The location directly at the beach with private loungers and parasols was great. We never used the pool just because we preferred the sea and beach.
The room was really nice and clean. All staff was very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant has a small menu but the food was delicious which we had one time at the dinner.
Breakfast is served until 11 which we enjoyed and there is quite a selection but every day the same.
We had a car during our stay which was helpful to get around and also explore the island. So, we cannot judge how good the hotel can be accessed with the public transportation/buses.
We can highly recommend this place and would come back anytime.
This is a beautiful property! The pool was excellent, the food was great and it has a nice beach! It’s a nice quiet location away from all the tourists.
Lovely hotel/resort in Naxos, away from the busy city life. This resort is right across from the sea, a 20 second walk from the front gate. The staff were very friendly and personal, all the services they provided were lovely. We did book the penthouse, which had an incredible view of the sea, a large spacious deck and the inside was very clean, cute and reminded us of a tradtional european style living, loved it. No need for brand new modern style rooms, the decor and style of the room and resort is what I want when im vacationing, If I was going back to Naxos, I would stay here again.
Wonderful hotel with a great beach. Everything was clean, and the staff members are exceptionally kind, smiling, and helpful. Wow!
The pool was wonderful and meticulously well maintained.
Excellent breakfast.
I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Your staff was wonderful, tonya showed us around, Sophia was wonderful and Anna was very helpful.
We enjoyed your lovely resort, and didn’t want to leave! We will ge back!!
Halal helped us all of the time, Joy was wonderful as our housekeeper lady.
Thank you so much for having a wonderful people there
