"Plan on paying extra when you arrive for local taxes property charge. It will make you pay when you check in. I think it was 800 ISK a night. Everything was way nicer than expected. "Room had a left over crotch towel from the previous guest hanging up on the shower curtain rail. We carefully removed it and placed it in the hallway, and it was promptly picked up by the time we left the room 30 minutes later. Other than that the hotel and staff was great."

Pros: - Really modern interior architecture - Limited Complimentary parking - Exceptionally supportive staff members - In city centre - Nearby restaurants and food halls - Really good Spa section(Sauna, Massage, indoor and outdoor warm pool) Conditional Cons: - No racks to keep eye glasses in Spa area(it becomes difficult for a person with eyeglasses, as there is no rack to leave them off, when entering in Sauna or going to take shower)"

"I stood for a wknd solo trip at Hotel Fron. The rooms lighting wasnt that great. The bathroom was extremely small with no sink space at all. The staff was very very nice. However, upon leaving, I asked the hotel staff how to go about ordering a cab to the airport; which was ordered for me by the hotel. Upon arrival at the airport, I was charged $160 for a 45 min car ride. Of course I paid it but I felt completely robbed and overcharged."

"Lovely hotel in perfect location. Short walk into Reykjavik. We were pleased to be away from centre and to avoid potential noise late at night. Hotel staff were courteous and able to book our return journey to KEF airport. If we returned to Reykjavik we would certainly return to this hotel. Rooms were warm, we had room at rear of hotel overlooking garden area, away from traffic. "
