"The room was good for my needs, desk and extra table for suitcases, nice closed and safety box. The staff made me feel like at home, all of them knew my name and they were very pending on my needs. Lady and Juan at the restaurant have been excellent host representing the hotel on a fantastic way of welcoming me back and even remembering how I like my food and they remember my name … so many year coming to the hotel!! I Love, love the food specially the breakfast menu. "

"Virrey Central is a surprising hotel. It is only a short walk to the Museo del Oro and the Plaza. My room was basic but practical and very quiet. Everything is very clean and tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. "

More cereal choice would have been nice and plain, unadulterated black tea sachets were virtually non existent. We did manage to get 2 Liptons teabags one morning. There is no restaurant in the hotel other than for breakfast. There was no bar either on the first night but there was the following nights. "
