Grand Hotel Trento

"A very nice older hotel with character. It is well maintained and very clean. We stayed in room 407 for three nights in September, used the AC the first night and it was fine but slept with the windows open the other two nights, not much noise at all. Could only find two English language channels on the TV but not really an issue as we were out most of the time. Internet access was good. There were two electric car chargers in the parking garage, I asked to cost to use them and was told it was a flat rate, I told them my car was a hybrid and that it did not make sense as the rate was for full electric cars, I was again was told it was a flat rate. The hotel should consider another way to charge hybrid cars, while we were there the chargers were mostly not used so you reduce revenue for the hotel and don’t support customers needs, not a good idea. The breakfast is good, lots of choice. The area around the coffee machines needs to be reorganized as is busy and too cramped. After people leave breakfast the tables they are cleared and reset quickly but the table is not cleaned down properly prior to resetting. The bar area is large but not appealing, the decor does not match the rest of the hotel. Would be worth spending some money to make the environment cosy and welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in Trento, driving access is fine."

"Wonderful hotel and location. Great price! Across the street from the ferry dock. Parking free but off site and narrow road access. Huge balcony was bigger than the room and overlooked Lake Garda and Torbole. So fun watching the wind surfers from our own balcony lounge chairs."

"Nice hotel, open to families with young children. The room was great with a separate area for our son and the staff very kind and reactive (including. on WhatsApp). We also enjoyed the restaurant and thought the half board option was great value for money. The only few downsides were: - the hotel say they have all required equipment for children (e.g. stroller) which is the case, but surprisingly we had to pay an extra for it (wasn’t so clear on the website) - the view was a bit disappointing: the lake is mostly hidden by buildings and trees - a farm was advertised on the website but it’s actually tiny, they just have rabbit and a few Guinea pigs (nice but a bit disappointing)"

"As it's a vary tight and loaded area with not alot of parking spots I'll suggest A. GIVE TIPS ABOUT WHERE TO PARK B.Should also suggest if there's a close spot to drop the bags before going to park. C.this is more towards the app and not the host, Expedia should specify that this erea should have some prior planning as for parking ect.."
