First night being hungry, we asked how late the restaurant stayed open; we were told 10pm. Well, they decided to close the restaurant “early”. Woke up to a cold shower with the explanation of a “pulling system” with “too many guests, and to give it time to reset”. Great day at the beach (nothing to do with the hotel). Ending a beautiful day at the beach only to have ANOTHER COLD SHOWER. The management offered to move us to another room, only to find THAT room also had no hot water. They moved us to ANOTHER room. Next morning had breakfast and was going to go to the beach, but wanted to check the water because I was going on day two without a hot shower - only to find… you guessed it NO HOT WATER! The management said he couldn’t offer any compensation, and the room is nonrefundable. We checked out a day and a half early and went home to a hot shower! This whole “non-refundable but we can treat you however we want” is getting COMPLETELY OUT OF HAND!! No free appetizer, no free parking, no half off a room. In fact the manager looked at me and said, “well I’m getting ready to leave”, put his book bag over his shoulder (yes book bag), and gave me to another employee. The lack of “give a crap” is incredible.
The ONLY nice thing about the hotel is the view, and the lobby (check-in) staff.
So, if you want to pay the same price as a 4-star hotel and roll-the-dice on whether the restaurant will be open, and a hot shower, but it’ll have a nice view, this hotel is for you!
