Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children's Activities - This program is available at Patricia Grand and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! Once we were able to get in the room and get settled, I enjoyed the stay. Direct access to the beach was a plus, dog a accommodation were adequate. Other than having trouble with the combination lock to the room; I feel confident in choosing this hotel again.

Fun time with sister

My sister and I enjoyed a get-away here. The beds were comfy, the place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. Nice that it stayed open until 11 pm.

Great family friendly place!

The lazy river was not what we expected at all, it was a tiny indoor oval, BUT my kids preferred it over the pools and beach. The elevators were fast, the cleaning crew was fabulous, and we will definitely be back. Also just know there's no coolers on the pool deck, no canopies on the beach, and alcohol can only be bought at bar on location, no personal. The chairs/umbrella on the beach for you to rent are very reasonably priced also.

Garbage service gave me a overcooked fillet said it was a NY strip. No water pressure at all, no housekeeping until you check out, no wall outlets, restaurant/bar closed half the week, overcrowded and moldy. Never again.

This Hotel itself is very clean you can smell how clean it is and to be totally Honest this is the first place I have stayed ocean front in Myrtle beach that I didn't see ANY cockroaches at all. The room was nice however the beds were Horrid. ( both of them) you can here springs popping when you rollover and you can feel it too. There was a stain on the one sheet ( an old blood stain) Throw them away. That is unacceptable. The indoor pool and lazy river were very nice and clean but the sliding doors to the outside need replaced.

We stayed the wkd for an event at the convention center. The location was good and we could have taken the 20 minute walk there even, if it wasn’t raining. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very disappointed in cleanliness of unit. The floor was sandy and very dirty. I don’t know when the floor was vacuumed or mopped last, it was very dirty. Everything else was cleaned fine. We did not feel we could open the drapes bc other units could see in with the way rooms are angled to face each other, so having a partial ocean view was a waste. It wasn’t very expensive, so we got what we paid for with this unit.

You get what you pay for

Based on pictures and previous reviews it seemed like we were getting a good deal on a room, but really I wouldn't have paid what I did for what we got. The room was okay but left a lot to be desired. First off just getting in door of room was challenging and I had to push with my body weight because would stick and was heavy. Once in room if you walked around in your socks or bare feet the bottoms would be black because the floors were so dirty. The room had a very strong air freshener smell to it as if trying to mask another smell. We left the air conditioner on the same temperature setting the 3 days we were there yet the room would go from absolutely freezing to hot and humid and then back to freezing. To top it off the front desk staff were shockingly unpleasant. I have never stayed somewhere where the front desk made me feel like I was a bother to them until now. One of the days we were there ended up being rainy during day. I asked if they knew of any indoor things we could do during day and one staff member just said no and other said here and handed me a coupon book. Similar experience when I tried to ask about restaurant recommendations in area. Needless to say we will not be staying at this facility again.

Overall, the place was great. Beach access, balcony, amenities etc. I was a little overwhelmed by the smell of Marijuana when we first arrived. Clearly that was due to the previous renters, and not the fault of the owner. The kitchen area was helpful, but lacked some pans for cooking simple items. Plan on a 25-30 mim walk to the boardwalk. We drove one night, but had a hard time finding a parking spot when we returned that night. We would stay here again.

Great weekend

Check in was quick and easy…. The board walk is right down the way… I enjoyed the walk about a mile… also right down the road from Broadway at the beach & a few other shopping areas
