"Ensure that meals are standard and not only when the lodge has large groups. We paid just as the large group so we expected the same service. When a large group checks in, the meals are great with lots of desserts and options. However, when the group left and we were still there, our meal was poor. Basic meal with only a banana or small fruit as dessert. There is no wifi connection in the lodge, not even the main building for the entire 4 nights and 5 days we were there. "The facilities are new and beautiful. They overlook the small crater lake Munyanyange which hosts birds year round and lesser flamingoes in July/August. The staff are excellent. The chef is superb! Very close to a gate for Queen Elizabeth. Staff helpful in arranging tours and walks as desired. An up and coming location, I believe. It can be hard to find initially as Google maps doesn’t have the back roads of Katwe, only the main road. If a sign goes down, you will need to ask directions...
