The Costa da Morte or "Coast of Death" forms part of the Galician coast in north west Spain and gets its name from the large number of shipwrecks in this area.

The area around nosa senora da barca is a beautiful area with an interesting history. It is also a place that is visited on the pilgrimage from Santiago to Finisterre.
There's an amazing view from the top of the hill towards the town of Muxía. You can walk to it easily from the parking lot at the lighthouse.
