"We had such a pleasant stay at the Calypso, the staff were absolutely gorgeous & easy to communicate with . The unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Coolangatta. "

"We stayed at this property for 7 nights in July 2026 in a one bedroom apartment, it is okay for 2 people ,very small kitchen area with no bench space ,everything in it ,but very compact. The heated pool ,spa and sauna Gym were amazing. Location is great ,buses at your front door ,the public transport system is so handy ,at a cost of 50 cents a trip, no need to have a car. Down the lifts and you have many resturants with daily entertainment. The unit could do with a good scrub of the shower ,we detected huge buildup of soap scum and some mold around the shower. We were standing at the windows admiring the views ,only there was cold winds blowing in ,due to damaged window seals. Staff were very helpfull with any requests. We would stay again for the location and the facilities of the towers. Wanda &Joe."

"Room was bigger then expected, very tidy and decent sized balcony. Unfortunate that the hotel doesn't offer breakfast/brunch options and theres no real close by coffee/ cafes however there was a coffee machine in the room The in hotel restaurant doesnt open until 5.30 making room service options limited Overall I would stay again"

"The staff were lovely and accommodating. Room had a great view - furniture was a bit tired and the cushions a bit grubby. Also we had to wash all cutlery before use as it was very dirty."
