room description was wrong

The property is average for a beachfront condo style hotel in the area. The room that we paid for online was described as a king bed complete with a picture of the bed and bedroom. While the picture of the living room area was accurate, the bedroom picture bore no semblance to the actual bedroom and its furniture. The bed was somewhere between full and queen in size, but closer to full. The mattress was by far the worst mattress I've slept on since my college days.

Loved that it was right on the beach. Loved that it was a full apartment. The parking garage was extremely difficult as it is too narrow for two cars to pass at once. Could have had some beach chairs in condo for guests to use.

Three of us stayed the weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. Everything about our trip was wonderful! The condo was very nice and the view fantastic. Check in and check out were a breeze! My granddaughter enjoyed the pools and even met two girls her age to play with! It was a very nice experience which we all would certainly recommend! Thank you!

Booked for 2bed 2bath , but they gave me 1bed . front desk helping well and changed room. Charged for room service , room not clean and left trash from before people. no room service. Couchbed real old . no shampoo, toothpaste, coffee, sugar, creamer, papper towel and beach towel. Hot tub not work and close. Indoor pool temperature so cold. Nice oncean view. Tight parking . need better sign for office, elevetor and room.

Great for families with children

Love the location and condo layout. Housekeeping situation and front desk service were the down falls. Front desk should be open later especially since Rooms are rented out like hotels rooms. Housekeeping should be upon request. For $250 a night I shouldn’t have to worry about getting towels from the laundry room in an allotted time. Night security was rude and not knowledgeable. The bar was the best customer service. Condo had a full kitchen and perfect for families. Kiddie pools, indoor and outdoor pool,and game room. Highly recommend for families with younger children. Quit location but still close to myrtle beach.

Was not my original or first plan.. Hotel plans was ruin by hotels.com/ Expedia ... The resort needs a major up grade... It’s almost like your living in a blast from the past ... wall paper pealing, Beds are old and small. the bathroom was ran down bad.. neat area just the room as extremely out dated.

Spectacular View, Clean, Friendly staff!

We had a great time. Facility is a bit dated, but it seems they are working to update it. That being said the view was absolutely amazing and the facilities were clean. Those 2 things more than made up for the facilities being older. If you’re looking for a place with a spectacular view and friendly staff, this is it.

Terrible

This was the worst condo experience I’ve ever had. The parking was terrible, the room was very dated and smelled. The carpet was rolling up exposing the tack strip and nails. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. I went to the desk to complain and was turned away stating they don’t own the condos they just rent them out. I paid for two parking spaces so I could park my motorcycle yet several nights I parked on the street because there are more rooms than parking spaces in the garage. There was even a molded chair in my room and the ceiling was rusted and falling. While I was there the building caught fire and the fire dept had to come surprise the fire. I could go on and on about this place but I’ll spare you.

Loved the property. Didn't like the fact that we couldn't use the indoor pool. We would've had to go all the way around to the office or up to our floor to get the code. Otherwise all was wonderful. Would've been great to have coffee in rooms.

Maintenance Has Been Neglected for some time

The best thing about this hotel is the location as it's directly on the beach. The overall state of the hotel is in disrepair. In all fairness the room we were in was recently remodeled and looked nice, but the rooms were extremely small and unfortunately not very clean. The floors were dirty and sandy. My wife and daughters found hair on the bed. There was trash underneath the bed. The shower was moldy as well. It's hard to believe they charge as much as they do. We went to the office to request they clean the room but they failed to do so. Normally we stay at the Avista uy it was booked. I would never stay here again.

Watch out for hidden fees booked a 3 night stay for 10/19 /2017 to 10/22 /2017ended up paying $ 676.66 through Expedia would not recommend using will not use again

Room good, but.........

16 floors share the same elevator space (mixed with locals and guest) so don't be in a hurry to get anywhere. Also, Rooms=great Bar=2 drinks with no buzz. Same with the bar in the cafe up the street so byod.

Right on the beach!!! Easy access to everything!!

We were looking for a place on the beach--that it is!!! We had a little difficulty finding out where to check in after 5, but sorted that out okay. The place is pretty clean and comfortable, not the greatest but I didn't mind staying there. The beach/ocean were fantastic, the pool was super warm and very clean. Plenty of chairs on the deck, even a bar. We liked having the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a little small but okay. The TV's are older but fine, not all the remotes worked but one did! It really was fine to stay there. We loved what was around in the area, great shopping, mini golf and more. We even had fireworks on the beach that was fun. dolphins right off shore. If you are not too picky and are going to be outside most of the time, the place was great!!
