"I LOVE this resort. I’ve stayed all three times I’ve visited Italy. The room was beautiful and had a view of the Tuscan hills, the village and the golf course. The hotel staff was fabulous, the breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant menu is limited, but the food has always been wonderful. I’ve never seen any US tourists, but lots of Italians. "
"The comfort room was airy and stylish, beautiful views with windows opening towards the valley. Ceilings brought a charming country atmosphere and the shower very cleverly placed “upstairs” under a wooden beam. Necessary to carry luggage up a narrow staircase. Bed was firm which I really loved. "We had a fantastic stay at Le Ragnaie in Montalcino! The location is great for accessing wineries and surrounding area. It was peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated for exploring the region. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed, offering great comfort and charm. The pool was a highlight, especially after warm afternoons of wine tasting. The breakfasts provided were second to none as well. The staff - A+. Everything about the property was well cared for. Highly recommend!"
"Absolutely wonderful, luxurious, and somewhat of a hidden gem. The perfect base for the Tuscan leg of our vacation. Would definitely come back!!! But I wish I’d discovered all of the incredible saunas earlier in our stay :) Also, the spa treatments are very reasonably priced considering the luxe surroundings. Could have spent a week here. "Peaceful, Relaxing Stay in Tuscany
We had a great experience here. The setting is quiet and secluded—felt like a true escape from everyday life. The golf was excellent, the food was consistently good, and the service was friendly and professional.
It is remote, which adds to the charm, but just a heads-up: if you need anything like Advil or small essentials, the nearest town is about 20 minutes away on a dirt road.
