"Josef was an extremely gracious host and opened the place last minute for us as our Airbnb was cancelled last minute. We were the first ones to rent out the place and Josef reached out to make sure our stay was going well inquired if we needed anything and requested any feedback to make future stays more comfortable. This place is perfect. It's right on the main street in Copper Harbor. It's easy to access everything from here. We found it perfect for our mountain biking trip as it provided more than enough space for all five of us and our gear. All in all this was a fantastic experience. We will definitely be booking again."
Hidden Gem in Keweenaw's Outdoor Playground

"We loved our stay! This is the perfect upper peninsula tranquil getaway. The house is immaculately cared for with plenty of space. Looking out the windows you can see both Lake superior and Lac La Bell. There is a dock right on Lac La Bell for fishing and relaxing. The mornings are peaceful and the sunrises are spectacular. There are thimbleberries, red raspberries, wild blueberries, hummingbirds, deer, birdwatching. The hosts were accommodating and easy to communicate with. Can’t say enough about this property! We are looking forward to staying here again in the future!"

"Clean rooms mark is very friendly and flexible on helping or answering any questions about his beautiful off grid cabin ! My family always enjoys the view and exploring the near by views and locations Mohawk has to offer !! I will always come back to marks one of a kind gem"

"This property is located conveniently across the street from the beach. The property is best suited for a family, kids upstairs & adults downstairs in the large master bedroom. If you have chemical sensitivities, it may be helpful to know the linens & towels are laundered with scented products and there were numerous scented wall plug-ins. The smell of fragrance is quite strong upon entering the home. The home was clean & the kitchen well supplied for making meals."

"The home and location are both beautiful. It’s very peaceful. The beach is lovely and swimming was great. The kitchen has everything. The TV worked easily for streaming. The house is super clean. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. I would stay here again!"

"I want to give a bad review because I don't want anyone else to stay here because this place is so flipping awesome. I want it all for myself. Mark has been the most gracious and engaging host. He even took off some time to take us out on a tour of the trails and show us the good stuff. His other property on brockaway mountain is just hard to describe the heavenly view as your eyes reign over the trees and out to the lake. Whether you mountain bike, orv, or just sit and read and look at the lake, the loft at copper harbor retreat is absolutely the best. I write this review as we are about to depart in the morning and honest-to-goodness, I just don't want to leave this is so much fun. 10 out of 10."

Charming Home in Peaceful Eagle Harbor with Single Floor Living

"We really enjoyed our stay. The hosue was clean and comfortable and a very pleasant place to stay. The air mattress provided as an extra bed was an Aerobed with adjustable firmness, so it was comfortable. We loved the location because it was very close to town but in a quiet neighborhood so we felt secluded. We also really like Eagle Harbor. It has a wonderful swimming beach and the lighthouse just a couple minutes' drive from this house. We would love to stay here again."
