The room was clean and spacious. Nice bed and bedding. Bathroom was small with no vent system, but it was clean. The hallways and lobby were hot but the ac in the room kept us comfortable. Husband enjoyed the morning breakfast. We were in town visiting family and didn’t spend much time at the hotel. It was in a great location.

The beds were really comfortable and the shower pressure amazing. The room was very musty and carpet had stains. Breakfast was great but they were out of a lot of things when we went at 8:30 on a Friday. The staff was pleasant. Great location for going into Charleston or enjoying Mt. Pleasant. Just a very outdated hotel.

I am giving this location a higher rating of 6 because of the staff, location and above average complimentary breakfast. However, this hotel is old and in much need of restoration and repair and lacks some basic amenities, such as a water fountain/bottle filling station. The convenience of location was fantastic for our visit to the Yorktown but it took 2 room changes, one was due to bad mold moisture odor, and the other a broken AC unit. We were eventually placed in an upgraded room that was acceptable for our 3 day trip which was handled professionally by Sarah the Manager. We would not consider staying here again, it was adequate but not the best experience.
