The hotel is a beautiful property in the most perfect part of center of Montpellier. The room was perfect. Great view. Great size. Clean and simply perfect. We dined at a the fine dining rest. One night. It was simply perfect . What is missing in this hotel is great experienced staff. We stayed for a week in this hotel. The young girl that helped us check out and one other young lady were ok. Everyone else. No comment. The bar manager was one of the worst we experienced. My husband had a special request. We waited for half an hour and we never received our drink so we just cancelled our order. The hotel reception the night before our departure told us there is problem with the electricity. Helping us to change our room but when we were telling him we don’t wanna move to a room smaller than our original one he gives you a service with no eye contact. We travel around the world and always in 5 star hotels. The staff of this hotel were from from what you expect in 5 stars and that was disappointing.

The check in person, Adrian I believe, had a very terrible hygiene problem. The entire reception area smelled like horrible body odor. Adrian himself stank like he hadn’t bathed or cleaned his clothing in months, and I’m not exaggerating even a little bit. It was hell checking in, however the next morning at checkout both ladies were wonderful and the room smelled normal.

Slip sliding away-almost

Sadly, the shower was a nostalgic bathtub with a curtain. The tub was too difficult to step into and each time we showered, there was a flood over the entire bathroom floor. When getting out of the shower, it took careful balancing to ensure that we didn't fall over. This is not what one expects from a 5 star hotel
