This is the most charming boutique hotel, in one of the most beautiful towns in all of Italy. It sits right near the top of the hill, and overlooks the Tuscan Hills. The sunset view is truly breathtaking. The rooms are so clean, the window views of the valley are stunning, and their restaurant is quite delicious!!
I’m a widow and this was my first vacation alone, in thirty-five years. They staff at La Locanda were gracious, very helpful, and tried their best to ensure everything was going well for all their patrons. From the young man that checked me in and carried my way over-packed suitcase upstairs, to the lovely young ladies at breakfast, and a favorite that checked me out upon leaving…Thank You! Thank you for making my stay in Montepulciano so very special. You had no idea my heart was shattered, but your attention to detail and your kindness was endless. From this solo traveler, grazie mille.
