This was as advertised, a good place to get a good night sleep. Room was clean and comfortable. Hallways and stairs were not very clean. Breakfast was ok but definitely could offer a little more. Price good compared to others in the vicinity. Overall a decent experience.

I would stay again.

It is a good place to stay and it is simple place to stay. The breakfast selection is limited but doable to eat. The laundry room is clean and the hotel is quiet.

We have a fishing boat and keep looking for places to stay around Mark Twain lake. This place was clean, quiet and safe. The Manager was helpful. We would stay there again. Was a very good value. Do note that the breakfast has no protein, but had waffles, toast, fruit, juices, cereal.

Great stay

My kids live in the area and I just need a comfortable clean place to sleep! Highly recommend very clean very friendly really quiet lots of well lighted parking. Large yard if you’re traveling with pets!

Economical for one night.

Rates were economical and room was clean. Check-in was fast and the pet fee was low at $15 a night. The continental breakfast was less than to be desired and could use some improvement. I would consider it bare bones, but other than that for one night in a pinch the property sufficed.

The bed was comfortable and while the property was very dated it appeared to be clean. The shower was broken - you could not adjust the handle for warm water. When I told the owner upon checking out, he just looked at me. So be aware room #101 has no hot water in shower.

Very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Peter is great! Very clean rooms. The shampoo packets suck but that was the only negative I have. Oh and I won $100 on the slot machine!

Not bad for the price.

The hotel was clean and the owners were friendly. We appreciated that they allowed pets, as we were traveling with our dog. The room was comfortable, and it was pleasantly quiet—no noise from outside. However, the toilet didn’t flush properly and the bathtub drained slowly. There’s also a spider issue that needs to be addressed; I killed three during our two-day stay, including a brown recluse—all in the bathroom. The breakfast was minimal, though the area was clean and well maintained. We've stayed at this motel several times under different ownership. While there have been some improvements, a few more wouldn’t hurt. Overall, we’ll stay again.

The surfaces and bedding were clean and comfortable, and the other guests and staff were quiet. The bathroom smelled of urine, one bedspread had cigarette burn holes, and the AC was very loud. No WiFi info provided.

ADA Non-Compliant

I don’t normally write reviews, but my experience at the Fairbridge Inn was so appalling I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. Instead of a welcome, I was met with attitude and blatant ignorance — especially when it came to my certified service dog. They charged me $60 for a service animal, which is not only unethical but illegal under the ADA. Either they’re unaware of federal law, or they just don’t care. Either way, it’s unacceptable. The property itself was no better — trash scattered across the parking lot, giving the whole place a rundown, neglected vibe. It felt more like a truck stop than a hotel. If cleanliness and hospitality are even remotely important to you, do yourself a favor and stay anywhereelse. I left feeling disrespected, frustrated, and disgusted. Fairbridge Inn? More like Unfairbridge Out.

The hall and room smelled and looked clean! When I looked in our room's bathroom, there was a dark brown bath mat laying in the tub. I have never seen a bath mat in a motel room, so maybe a prior renter left it. When I picked it up, it was slimy and a little moldy on underside. We had a second room for a relative, and their room did not have a bath mat in the bathtub.
