It was very old school.and it was not what I expected. Quite a unique experience because it is so remote. No regrets, you mighr want a 4 wheel drive. I was treated like a VIP.

I loved this property. The free guided walks are amazing. I saw sleeping frogs and humming birds and learned so much about the plant life and also the history of the lodge. Edward was a great guide! Spacious accomodation with three decent sized bedrooms. Parking was right next to the cabin which was good because the walk up to it was very steep. TV was way too complicated to work.

You can take time to visit Vista Golfo Adventure Park during your travels to Tajo Alto. You can seek out the area's ziplining sites and adventure tours.
We ate at the hotel restaurant and only ventured to Miramar for snacks and to check out the area. It wasn't too touristy which we liked. Most of the shops were for local residents. The staff was friendly without being overbearing.
