A modern, clean and well maintained hotel. Staff were friendly, rooms cleaned to a high standard every day. We didn't use many of the ameneties as we were out and about most of each day, but the whole hotel looked very nice.

We loved this hotel. We had two connecting rooms for a family of four. The rooms were well appointed, clean and the shower was great. The breakfast was also a full breakfast with lots of options. The hotel was very close to the Metro and the property had a lot of nice restaurants nearby.

Close to train station. Rented bikes steps away from hotel entrance and toured Milan. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice. 3-4 am there was a fight outside the hotel unrelated to the hotel that awoke us. Unsure of the safety in the neighbourhood.

Excellent hotel, extremely close to the Porto Garibaldi train and metro station. Good restaurants in the area. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is ample. Would stay again.

Everything about the hotel itself was immaculate. When we came down to the lobby at 5:15 a.m. to catch an early train to Paris, there were hundreds of young people partying in the street in front of the hotel. The lace was trashed. Loud music. Dozens of shouting drunk people. Threatening environment for sure. The gentleman at the desk was frustrated and embarrassed, saying “It is every night”. He called 3 huge security guys to escort us through the crowd across the street to the train station. There was some jostling. In spite of the excellent hotel and its proximity to quality restaurants, the morning environment is a deal breaker. We will not go back.

Hotel Tocq is a functional hotel with good walkability to Brera in Milan. I have stayed in many hotels in Milan and would easily seek out alternatives rather than to stay here again.

Cleanliness and friendly staff. The location is superb for access to metro, restaurants and shopping. The only distress is a night club in front that brought some noise and rough crowds at elevated hours of night. The city of Milan should forbid this late night clubs in favor of tourism and help hotel and service industry survive. You can’t have it both ways dear politicians!
