From the exterior the place looked fine, we checked in on 05/26/25. The check in was quick and the front desk person was friendly enough and told us there would be a continental breakfast in the morning. As soon as we got into the room we noticed how unappealing the place was. The room was clean and so was the bathroom I can say that but all the rest was unsatisfactory. The place looked very dated, the floors were worn and old they had black scratch marks all over them, the curtains let all the light in, the room had 3 lamps one lamp bulb was out and a singular recessed light in the ceiling and somehow during the day the room was so dark, could not open the window blinds because our room was directly facing the parking lot and did not want people looking in. Later, as we are getting ready for bed and as soon as we closing our eyes we hear something that sounds like a ships siren really loud in the room, now given that we are not nearly close enough to any body of water it would lead me to assume that it was some type of pipe. This happened several times during the night and made it difficult to sleep. In the morning we wake up expecting something not extravagant but something simple a “continental breakfast” what we got was two tables. On one side the beverage table (a couple of selections of coffee and some bottled juice) on the other side the food table ( microwaveable prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, some fruit and some breakfast pre packaged cereal bars and breads.
