Room and pub very nice, friendly staff, but had a dog barking most of night
Great hotel, beds really comfy and staff very polite and helpful. Only downside was the room’s ceiling wallpaper was peeling off and just needs sprucing up but wouldn’t put me off going again
Property was really good and the staff were really friendly. However the rooms were really warm even with the fan on and the windows open it was hard to sleep and also the people outside till all hours

It’s ok.
You have to bear in mind it’s a Hungry Horse pub. Cheap and cheerful.
The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
The food was ok and breakfast was served from 7am.
Always stay here when we're in Boro. Nice, warm, comfy rooms with big bed and a great bath. Friendly and unpretentious place.Great bar with reasonable prices and a good range of beers. Walkable into town or a few quid for a taxi. Quiet after the bar closes, but not really noisy when open anyway.
Great place to stay when visiting Middlesbrough. Clean and welcoming, on site of lively pub which serves food. Quiet bedrooms, with expected amenities, only issue no mirror at vanity table/desk where the plug sockets and hairdryer are located, could be easily rectified.

Clean and Comfy out of town hotel
An out of town hotel, part of the Greene King pub chain. Room was clean and comfy apart from the radiators which were tempremental/not working (meaning the room was a little cold. Bathroom was a bit dated but not a show stopper.
We booked this hotel as a place to stay whilst seeing family and we would highly recommend it. Check in was fast and efficient. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. We will be booking again very soon.
MY STAY AT THE HIGHFIRLD HOTEL WAS GREAT, I EVEN BOOKED ANNOTHER NIGHT THERE AT THE HOTEL ITSELF. I LOVE STAYING THERE. THE STAFF ARE FREINDLY AND HELPFUL AND IT IS CLOSE TO THE CENTRE OF MIDDLEBROUGH. 5 STARS FOR EVERY THING.
Good sized car park, reception just to left inside main entrance. Efficient check in. Good sized well appointed room. Good choice of food and drink with offers in menu. They change daily. Overall pleased, will stop there again.
Busy road getting out of carpark but not an issue.
MY 2ND STAY, IN A WEEK, AT THE HIGHFIELD IN MIDDLESBROUGH WAS VERY GOOD. I SLEPT WELL AND THE FOOD WAS TO STANDARD. AS USUAL, THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. I ENJOYED MY STAY.
to be honest i was impressed better than i expected, bathroom was immaculate. bed was so comfy i fell asleep a few times before my bed time. heating was lovely although could get very hot but i like toastie.
