It's rare to find a large home that can comfortably accommodate so many different couples and their children, but this one did! Loved the large back patio, two long picnic tables, and fire pit. It was a great place for all to gather and enjoy the weekend!

This stay BLEW our group away!! We had a larger group with family and friends in town for the weekend and could not have picked a better spot. Great place to stay, had all useful tools for the kitchen and the gas grill for the large meals we made for a very wide assortment of ages. Kids loved the patio area where they could play and hang out even when the weather wasn't the best. I would 100% recommend Craig as a host and would easily stay at his property again... just need to be promised warmer weather next time :)

My friends and I rented this house for a weekend getaway and had a blast. The kitchen area had enough seating for our large group, we enjoyed hanging around the outdoor and indoor fireplaces and the super short walk to the beach. The property manager was responsive. Our family of 19 people, ages 5 to 73, enjoyed our stay in Michigan City. The house had everything we needed... lots of plates, flatware and cooking stuff! Plenty of room for us to spend time together and privacy when we needed it. The homeowners were great and responsive. The house was clean and tidy! Will be going there again next year!

Home with great combination of large and small gathering places, lots of bedrooms with comfy beds, close to beach, and kitchen stocked with all types of pots, pans and dishes. Everything you need for multiple families to gather, eat, and play together. Great patio space with gas grill and fire pit. We had five families together and we all had our own space. It was perfect.

The house was perfect for us with several families that all wanted their own rooms. Many houses that can sleep the same number of people accomplish it with big bunk rooms but that didn't work for our families with small children. It was right across the street from a really nice beach and the outdoor space in the background was perfect for grilling and a small plot of grass for the kids to play.

We have a few families that have tried to get together for long weekends in the Michigan City/Long Beach area every summer for the last 5 years. With new kids being born ever year, that became more difficult. This house was perfect for the amount we had. It is also close to the beach with easy access. Plenty of bathrooms for the amount of people we had was ideal as well. We will definitely be staying here on an annual basis.

This house was perfect for our friends reunion. There are several nicely furnished and decorated common areas to gather, or to find a quiet respite as needed. The outdoor patio is beautiful and was perfect for cocktails and dancing before our group dinner in the very spacious dining room. It’s just across the street from the beach, so even though the weather was rainy in mid-May, we could still take long walks to enjoy the lakefront and the many bird species there. We recommend this property and would return.

This is a wonderful house that is steps away from the beach. We loved being able to walk whenever we wanted without packing up a car. Beach was lovely and not too crowded. House decor was nice and everything was clean. The nearby zoo is a must if you have little kids! The actual town is a bit depressed; no quaint downtown etc. also, be careful on bunk beds as the ladders were not firmly fastened. All in all, great stay!

Our group really enjoyed their time at La Terrazza. This is an older home that has been renovated thoughtfully. The kitchen is not enormous but it is very functional and well-stocked. It was great to have six couples in the house who all had their own bathroom. The best part is the location - a very easy and safe walk to the beach access with mats along the dunes to help get wagons to the beach. We had some issues with appliances being finicky, but the owners were very responsive in helping us get them working. I would definitely recommend this property to any family looking for a Lake Michigan vacation.

This is our 2nd time to the Georgia Ave house. The updates this time were lovely. We loved the redecorating, new mattresses, linens, landscaping etc -- it's not the Ritz but it's just perfectly comfortable for our group. We love the location - a nice walk over the dune to a fantastic beach. Linda, the property manager, is wonderful and very responsive, as was Craig, the owner. We are already planning our next trip back.

This house was great for a large group. Everyone had a bed and no one on the floor. The early risers could have coffee in the morning in the 2nd floor sitting area and let the rest of the house sleep. We all sit down for meals together with room to spare. The walk to the beach was very close and convenient. Plenty of parking around the house for a large group also. The weekend was wonderful for our family. Mel & Jay
