At check in, I changed my form of payment. I went out of the country and came home to both of my cards being charged (cleared charges, not pending) for the room (so, an extra $200.) I called the IHG number, they said someone would call me back within 48 hours. They did not. Called again and got told the hotel said they canceled one of the payments. I said, they didn’t because I am looking at 2 charges. So they told me to dispute it with my bank. So I called the hotel directly, left a message. Haven’t gotten a response and now I’m having to fight it with my bank. Absolutely ridiculous and the whole thing is terrible service. Very frustrated and disappointed. (Additionally, the outside seating closes at 9 with the pool and you get locked out of the hotel if you’re out there. The manager came out and rudely said something about it, that we struggled to understand due to the language barrier. Seems pretty ridiculous. The inside seating was FREEZING and nobody wanted to sit in there!)
