"The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers. It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well."

Outstanding breakfast -great choice & fresh cooked -lovely hostess made the experience one to repeat ! Car parking is plentiful and very convenient straight outside our room ( actually perfect if one had any mobility issues or required safe parking for valuable stock in a van )."

The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others."
