The no reception or staff members works really well. Situated in the very pretty Market Square where we parked without any problem. Highly recommend. Great experience."

"The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. Allocated a room with a four poster bed, as I'm a little claustrophobic we asked to change room at reception, no problem at all. Overlooking the river with balcony we would definitely stay again in this room. It is a little tired but clean and comfortable."

"My wife and I stayed for two nights. Our room was well equipped, including iron, ironing board, fan, hairdryer and to a good standard, the room showed obvious signs of constant use and age but was clean. Wi-Fi through out the building was very good and my wife especially liked having the bottled water already in our room on arrival and at turn down. Breakfast was to a very good standard on what we ordered. The bar was probably our favourite place, very pleasant area to relax and even had live music on our last night. But I think more important than the above was the friendly and helpful staff who absolutely made our stay. They were happy to give advice on the surrounding area, and always happy to help. Thank you to all the staff at The Park Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable."
