Enjoy a relaxing or exciting family and friends get-away in this private luxury 5 bedroom home on Lake Arbutus! This home has trail access to more than 235 miles of 4 wheeler trails, has a private sandy beach that gradually slopes into the water, and a large floating dock to jump off of into beautiful Lake Arbutus! Watch the sunset from one of two balconies or on the outdoor patio while making s’mores in the fire pit or toasting a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace. This spacious home is perfect for all occasions with plenty of room for all your guests, while still allowing plenty of privacy from the stresses of everyday life.

Within five miles of this location is a terrific supper club (Stronesthrow). Many of our guests travel by boat to enjoy two popular places such as: hand-dipped ice cream counter, Lake Arbutus Sportsbar, Grill & Resort (horseshoes, mini golf, sand volleyball, arcade, etc.), the famous Tiki bar overlooking the lake, weekend breakfast at the Little Bar, and two campgrounds with beaches and playgrounds!!! The house is located on the 4-wheeler trails, so no need to trailer once you arrive in the driveway. Clark and Jackson County are the best ATV and single-track motorcycle trails in the Midwest – with over 235 miles of trails to explore! Canoe and kayak rentals available at Hatfield Sports Shop.

About 10 miles away is Lake Wazee where people enjoy fishing, sightseeing, and scuba diving in Wisconsin’s clearest and deepest lake. Ho Chunk Casino and Hoffman Aquatic Center are also just 13 miles away in Black River Falls. There are also plenty of small shops, wineries, and places to eat in Hatfield and the small surrounding towns. Levis Mound, only 15 miles away, offers hiking, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. Bruce Mound, about 5 miles away, offers winter skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.

Is there a place to rent/dock a pontoon boat (or other boat) near the property?
We have a large floating dock that travelers are welcome to use! Kayak and Canoe rentals are available at Hatfield Sports Shop http://www.hatfieldsportsshop.com/.

Is it safe for kids to swim in front of the property? (Does the water get very deep very fast etc.)
Yes, it is safe for children to swim in front of the property, but of course please watch them closely at all times! The sandy beach gradually goes into the water. About 7 feet out it drops to about 5 feet deep. If you have older kids the water at the end of the dock is only about 8 feet deep. No deep diving! I jumped off this dock a million times as a kid! :)

What nearby activities are available for kids?
There is a lot for kids to do in the area. There is a roller skating rink right in Hatfield (about 3 miles away from the house). Lake Arbutus Resort (2 miles away by road or accessible by boat) has a tiki bar with a sand area the staff often throws change in for kids to find, they also have slushy drinks (a favorite with the kids in our family), a small arcade in a gazebo off the patio, free mini golf, and volleyball courts. There are two county campgrounds/parks on the lake – both with playgrounds. There is a gas station that has hand dipped ice cream, which the kids in our family also always ask to stop at. I highly suggest the caramel collision if you go! Lake Wazee is a beautiful deep and clear lake to go check out about 13 miles away towards Black River Falls (BRF). In BRF there is an aquatic center and movie theatre. In Neillsville (about 10 miles away) there is a bowling alley, Frisbee golf course, skatepark, and a regular golf course. If your kids like hiking Levis mound is also a great place to go.

What dates do you have available?
Because we just recently listed our home we still have many dates available, but we are booking up quickly! We try our best to keep the calendar updated at all times, so please look at the calendar to see if the week(s) you want are available. Our weekly rentals start on a Friday (check in at 3pm) and end the following Friday (10am check out).

Wondering what your cancellation policy is and payment terms?
We allow guests to cancel 30 days in advance of the check in date. We require half down to secure the reservation and this is non refundable. The remaining balance is collected 30 days prior to check in.
