"The hotel is really good and value for money overall. The staff were a highlight, the room was big and clean, with good facilities. If I was being picky the arrangement they have with the beach club for use of the pool is changeable (different rules every day we visited) and the hotel bar is a bit bland. "

"We had a fabulous 7 night stay. The location was perfect, close to everything Valletta had to offer. We arrived early, they looked after our luggage while we went to explore, and messaged us when the room was ready. Every single member of staff was cheerful, friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was very nice, modern, and a comfortable bed. A couple of hooks to hang the robes on would be a welcome addition, as would a couple of small bistro chairs to sit on on the little balcony.The breakfast was traditional and delicious, a great opportunity to try local delicacies with a good selection and a different speciality each day. The roof terrace had spectacular views, would have loved to have sat up there in the afternoons to relax. We understand it is used in the summer for Aperitivo but sadly we were too early in the year for that. Special mentions must go to Renald and Natasha, who gave us great tips which helped us have such an amazing time.Also Arno and Rita and the rest of the team whos names we didn't get. "Wonderful property and very thoughtful and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Good location for walking the historic city and waterfront. We would have rated 5 stars except for the bed which was way too hard and the hotel had no pillow top add on to mitigate our issue."

"The food was good especially the buffet on Saturday night. The highlight of it was the pasta and the staff providing it. Also the roast table, it was good too. The construction work was a major negative. we had no idea before booking that a major new facility was going up within a few yds of the hotel. Again the bar staff were very good at the buffet."
