For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino."

Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "Notre réservation par Hotels.com n’avait pas été correctement enregistrée. Heureusement, il restait des chalets disponibles… dans la partie prévue pour les hôtes d’un jour, donc : stationnement loin du chalet. Pas de 4G (ni de wifi, of course). Piscine fermée 4 jours avant la date prévue. Par contre: accueil sympa, excellent couchage et chalet très propre."
