Chautauqua Harbor Hotel - Jamestown

"We were stopping for a night on the way home from the East coast and chose this hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy but the hotel itself is amazing. It’s VERY clean and well appointed as well as comfortable. The service was excellent and so was the food in the restaurant. The grounds are immaculate. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was a really pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The staff were very friendly and treated you like family more than just guests. For a hotel near the lake, it wasn't a bad stay. Our room was clean enough where we felt comfortable staying. It was damp feeling when we first arrived but again, we were staying by the lake. We stayed for two nights and they offered a "grab and go" breakfast which was simple things like coffee, cereal, toast and pre packaged breakfast pastries. The second night we stayed, there was a leak in the bathroom which I was told was from the toilet, it supposedly has a cup that needs to be emptied ever so often. Anyways, my only real complaint was that the staff were nowhere to be found in the morning when I needed something. They have a sign up at the desk to pick up the phone and it would automatically call them to signal that someone was at the front desk. But I had been waiting for 15 minutes and no one showed up, not even housekeeping. Overall, I wouldn't expect a clean or well serviced hotel like the Marriott but it serves its purpose as a motel."

"Property was clean, AC in bedroom only, host easy to reach, dog friendly. Not detailed, “climbing” the stairs was literally the method of getting up to the bedroom. They were so steep that I had to use my hands and feet. Walking down required turning my feet sideways a pressing my hands against the walls. I am 70 years old. The outside was also swarming with mosquitoes, canceling out enjoying the generous common area outdoors."

Modern 300 ft lakefront with pool

"The house is great for our large family. The pool and lake were a great place to cool off from our hot week.The master bedroom was hot with only one fan working and no AC. We had issues with the well water not recovering so we had to limit showers because we'dlose water mid shower.We only used the washer a couple of times. I wish we would have known so we could have packed more clothes. Property management said it was happening all around the lake."

"We had a wonderful stay at this 2 bedroom 1 bath condo over the 4th of July weekend! It was clean, open with lots of light and easy access! Having a full size washer and dryer was a bonus. The porch overlooking the lake was perfect!"
