Maryhill State Park has 20 tent sites, 50 utility sites, two beaches, a shaded picnic area, a boat launch and a small dock, and makes for a perfect base camp for exploring the area. Keep in mind that that the park is next to a well-used highway and the sounds of night traffic filters into the campground.

A day pass or Discover Pass is required to enter any Washington State Park. #camping #hiking #thegreatoutdoors
Maryhill's Stonehenge sits on a hillside that overlooks the Columbia River in Eastern Washington. It was completed in 1929 to the original Stonehenge dimensions by Sam Hill, a local philanthropist, as a war memorial to the servicemen who died in Klickitat County during WWI.

This roadside attraction is free with beautiful vistas of rolling golden hills and endless blue sky. #architecture #monuments #roadtrip #StunningStructures
We had a nice, pleasant campsite in Maryhill State Park along the Columbia River in Washington State. This squirrel came by several times a day just to tease our dog.
