"We had a great time here. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic. It’s on the high street so you couldn’t be closer to the town - I could see the Abbey and Tor from my window. It doesn’t really have parking but there is a council run car park directly opposite and we didn’t struggle to find a space on it."

"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."

"The hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were quite small, but decorated beautifully, the bed was comfortable, The staff were polite. Unfortunately there wasn't any WiFi available and there was no signal to the television."

Room was ok bathroom needs modernisation and attention to detail such as more loo rolls and hand soap as not enough for the duration of our stay. Would stay again if the price doesn’t increase as I think it’s high end for what you get."

"Beautiful and immaculate room. Far exceeded my expectations. Staff super friendly and helpful especially considering we arrived very late after complications during our journey. Honestly felt like we were in a 5 star hotel, wish we could have stayed longer and hope to stay again."
