"This is short walking distance (across the street or a few blocks away) from restaurants and coffee shops. Our room was large (two queens and a sleeper sofa in a separate sitting area) and was clearly recently upgraded. We enjoyed the small indoor salt water pool, hot tub, and sauna. The property was clean and our room overlooked the harbor. We will definitely stay again. The cafe was closed for a week so we could not try out the coffee bar but one block away is a great combo coffee shop and bookstore."

"Overall a wonderful place for girls weekend. Close proximity to the lighthouses we wanted to see and to Rockland. Clean, beautiful view and easy check in. Host was very responsive with all contacts with questions. "

"Oh yes; dog treats in the lobby; BIG help with me maneuvering puppy dog outside with 3 legs and 15 years old; rearranging rugs to accommodate him as he’s terrified of falling on wood, linoleum, and tile floors. These people WERE NOT ASKED for help either; they saw me struggling with my back issues; jumped right in to make accessibility easier for my baby doggy!"

"Our week at the Owl’s Head post office was perfect! The place is SO charming, cozy, and comfortable. We cooked meals easily and just enjoyed the gorgeous cabin. We walked to Owl’s Head lighthouse. Being so close to the ocean was great. We did some antiques shopping (some cool stores nearby) and had a terrific meal at Ada’s. Doug left a friendly note and we could have texted him but didn’t need a thing. Would love to return. Definitely get the buckeyes at the general store next door. "

"Bring your yoga mat, paintbrush, camera or all the above -- the view is amazing! With a wall of east -facing windows, watching the sunrise each morning while sipping coffee was a joy. The cottage is right on Long Cove with unobstructed views of Northern Island, High Island and the Spectacles.The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for our 4-night stay. It was a quick trip to the store for snacks and to the beaches (Crescent and Birch Point) to enjoy some early Spring sun. The cottage was perfect and already looking forward to a trip back. Hope to rent again in-season, so we can also grab a lobster roll at McLoons. "

"We had a perfect little getaway!The cute little cottage in the cove was just right.Nice propane fireplace w beautiful view of fishing boats from the entire back side of house.Very cozy. Best part for me ( besides fireplace)was the gorgeous simple Shaker furniture pieces!!Only drawback is the only bathroom upstairs but we managed fine."
