"Perfect location and staff . I thought I had a problem with the air conditioning (in reality, I hadn't realized that Greece uses a smart system that prevents the AC from running if the windows are open); I called, and they answered immediately in English and resolved the issue. I used the kitchen to prepare a few meals and make a latte in the morning, which I enjoyed on the patio overlooking the pomegranate tree. There is very convenient, shaded on-site parking. Supermarkets, bakeries, and one of Sivota's best restaurants are just 200–300 meters away. The beaches are within walking distance along a mostly flat route. In short: excellent value for money, and I would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. P.S. I believe a renovation is planned—specifically for the bathrooms, which were the only part that wasn't perfect (though still more than adequate). Traveling as a couple by motorcycle. "Amazing hotel, brilliant staff, great food options and a very peaceful atmosphere. The gym, spa and beach were all great, very clean, good-sized room with very comfortable bed. We particularly loved the Pilates classes taught by Vanessa and the hotel even surprised me with a delicious birthday cake on my birthday. We had a wonderful stay and plan to visit again!"

"Great beachfront location with easy access to quaint port town of Gaios… while it is possible to walk to town, it is a bit of a hike and a car is recommended. Hotel layout is lovely with great pool deck, bar, and beach. The MOST comfortable beds of our entire one month Greece trip so far, and breakfast is great. Only recommendations are to brighten lighting in baths and choose amenities with easier to read labels."

"Absolutely lovely find. Rooms -- many with plunge pools -- situated in beautiful garden surroundings, next to a large beach. Could've easily stayed for a week and been very happy."

"We had a fantastic stay at Villa Anassa Mara. Kona, the host, was incredibly helpful, and all of the staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The villa itself was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, with all amenities working perfectly. The outlook over the ocean from the balcony is absolutely stunning, and the pool was spotless and beautifully maintained. The beach bar is a fantastic bonus, with friendly staff and crystal-clear water right on your doorstep. It really adds to the overall experience and makes it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The only addition I would suggest is a shuttle van to pick guests up and drop them off in town, as this would make getting around even easier. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Villa Anassa Mara to others."

"Staff and owner is amazing!! She accommodated an extra person to our room a few days before. Rooms are spacious. Everything has been revamped. Only point for improvement is the actual pools themselves need refurbing and a slightly better breakfast selection. Other than that great location on beach front and close to restaurants and supermarkets. And just far enough from the craziness of the strip. Family run hotel for families!! Amazing!! Owner and her mum are so lovely!!"

"The room was clean and good for the price. The air conditioning was a little bit weak given how hot it was but not a major problem. The only downsides were that there were quite a few extra charges in terms of evening entertainment, sun beds in the hotel and (refundable) for towels, which all required cash which we didn't have enough of, but staff were lovely and quite flexible. We were half-board and the food was decent."
