Denis and his staff were truly wonderful and very nice and accommodating. The room was beautiful, very large, and had great amenities (kitchen, table, desk, couch). This place was wonderful and even better considering the price. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Maputo.

My third visit here. Warm welcome. Lovely, clean and stylish rooms with all comforts. Bar & restaurant on sunny patio. Staff very helpful. A great find, good value for money in a safe & convenient area. Will return!

Excellent small hotel-highly recommended!!

We stayed here on several occasions in July and the staff were consistently attentive and accommodating. The hotel is in a very safe area, and the rooms are nice, but my favorite thing about the Sundown is how friendly and helpful everyone is. I highly recommend it-a great place to stay if you are visiting Maputo for the first time!

Super nice staff with clean rooms and tasty breakfast made to order. They were nice enough to give me same room on two bookings split by few days. They arranged my hotel airport transfers even very early in morning. Reasonable transport and restaurant prices. Rooms are good size with tv internet shower all working A+ quality. Great location not too loud and close to nice places to eat. Recommended.

A little gem

Very safe and quiet area a few nice restaurants and cafe in close walk. Food at lodge is good . just note, no main meals on a Sunday as yet. Large comfortable rooms, friendly staff . I would stay there again..
