Beautiful 4 bedroom home on the shores of Lanan Bay - Toledo Bend. Sister / Neighboring property of The Better Knott Lodge. Sitting on the deck above massive Lanan Bay, you'll love the sweeping views of the water and trees! The home comes well equipped for your needs. Spend your evening relaxing and fishing off the well lit boat house, or soak up the sun relaxing on the ample deck overlooking the lake. It also has a shared boat ramp on property for your use. (Concrete ramp on hillside).

Great Place

We stayed there for a fishing trip and the place is great. It's right on the water with a private dock and boat launch. It's in a quiet cove with little boat traffic. Highly recommend staying there

Awesome Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The property manager was very responsive the whole time, the outside seating areas are nice, and the house was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Y Knott Lodge was exceptionally nice. Upscale decor, great location with an expansive view of the lake. Communication was great. We really enjoyed our time at Y Knott.

Good time

Great view! Hill is brutal if you are going up and down to dock alot . Beds very clean, floors clean , kitchen clean , outside area very clean. Pics look A little nicer than actual. Soft spot in dinning room floor that is a little sketchy. Mold, mildew upstairs in ac vents and on top bathroom doorframe. Needs dusting and cob webs removed in living room by Toledo bend picture and a few other areas. Caught alot of fish off dock. Better have 4 wheel drive when launching! Overall we had a great time! Host was very responsive and helpful!

Incredible views

The best thing about the property is the back porch area. The views of the lake are incredible. If you have a boat, the boat dock area is built well and protects your boat from harsh north wind and waves.

We had an amazing stay at the lodge!! Looked Just as pictured. The view was amazing, lodge was clean, and we were close to local stores and restaurants. Communication with host was excellent. Would definitely come back.

The perfect getaway spot!

This home was a gem. It’s nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the lake. We were able to launch and dock our boats on the property where the fish were plentiful! The outdoor deck overlooking the lake was where we spent most of our time - we did not want to leave. Highly recommend booking.

Annual Christmas Trip

This was our third year in a row to rent this house for Christmas. It is just perfect for our family. The guys enjoy fishing on the lake while us ladies enjoy relaxing by the fire. We look forward to it every year.

Perfect view

The house with view was perfect for our stay. The private boat launch was the selling point for us. We enjoyed the pier and caught fish directly off of it. Boat slip for the boat was perfect when the lake got a little rough. Wound def recommend to family and friends.

Perfect weekend

Our 2 families with teen/preteens stayed here for a relaxing long weekend. The house had everything we needed and the location was perfect. It was conveniently located on the lake and only a short drive to grocery/tackle store. The boat dock was nice, easy put in, and well maintained. Shaded patio was perfect with plenty of seating and breathtaking views. The host stocked the kitchen & laundry room with plenty of essentials. We hope to get back to Toledo Bend and would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome home!

We absolutely loved this home! We come to Toledo Bend every year for a family vacation and this home was our pick this year. Everything was accessible and clean. If we needed anything they were always a call or text away. They even attempted to accommodate my family when the power went out due to the storm. Wonderful home. We look forward for booking next year!

Great Lake for Multiple Activities

We enjoyed the boat launch on-site for the convenience of both the party barge and bass boat. The outside fishing pier was top-notch with everything we needed to have a great weekend family getaway. The views from the gorgeous windows and beautiful outside deck were superb! The Lake House was very clean when we arrived. We did not catch anything except a turtle and a great time, but I will bring my family back here again! The stairs going upstairs were a little tricky, but the perfect spot for the grandkids to have their own space. Very nicely stocked with all the essentials.

Needs some work

There are some areas of this property that need attention. The upstairs bath leak through the downstairs ceiling rendering it unusable. All guest had to bath in the one downstairs bath. The kitchen was overrun with ants causing us to loose some food on the first night. Critters roamed the attic every night which was a bit disturbing for upstairs guest. The den couch was broken down to the point that it would only seat one person at a time. This house needs some attention before it should be available for rental

Take out the trash!!

The house was a nice older home lovely location.. We went to fish, swim and relax. Fishing was no good.The biggest negative to the property where the owners always on the verge of being rude.. Over serval e-mails because of questions we had we started figuring this out. After arriving we found a note taped to frig.. Also almost rude, we got to the point where we ran out of trash bags and because of the note stating you would not receive deposit back if all trash wasn't bagged we emailed asking where in the house we might find some.. In return email we where told that it was not something they supplied "even though it clearly states they do on there website" and that we could drive to the Exxon and buy some. Well here's my problem we where on our vacation in a town we knew nothing about and being told @ 10:00pm to go get some bags.. So don't rely on what they say they provide! We went and got trash bags bagged everything up packed and went home three hrs early. Can't feel comfortable in this home due to the list of must do's and owners manners. We've stayed at many lake house all lovely and nice owners and I've never felt a need to write a review until this stay.
