Casa Azul is a gem. It is located in a beautiful and very safe neighborhood and walking to the busy commercial street takes a matter of minutes, though you wouldn't know it was so close because it is very quiet. The space my son and I got included a double bed and a fold out couch, a kitchen with a fridge and cabinets, and a tv. Everything was spotless and looked brand new. The price was good especially considering how charming and ample the space. The owner was very thorough in showing us all the amenities and the rules of the place. It was really lovely and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

When looking for options for this one-night stay, I had very little criteria (within budget, close to Paseo Milan and with off-street parking). I came across this location in the Palermo neighborhood for a very reasonable price. When I booked the stay, I was sent a message via Expedia with a link to pre-register. The online form was not terribly long but it required that I uploaded the front and back of my government issued ID. I completed the form about 15 minutes before arriving. When I arrived, it was obvious that I although there were about 3 off-street parking spots. My compact pickup truck did not fit any of them because one of the apartments on the first floor had a room that bulged out into two out of the three spaces. Hence, I had to park on the street. A code to enter the lobby and apartment was needed so I had to contact the owner via phone. The owner verbally gave me the code but since I had my hands full with fetching the luggage, I had to call her back. The designated room was unavailable and they asked me to take a room on the last floor (no elevators). The icing on the cake was that the town's water utility had disconnected the water to perform repairs. I realize that the repairs were not within the control of the hotel. It was just the straw that drew the camel's back. The bed and pillows were comfortable. For guests accustomed to the AirBnB, none of this would be a problem.

Hice una reservacuon de una noche en Casa Azul pues necesitaba alojarme con mi madre de 86 años para un procedimiento médico. El mismo dia del viaje, la clínica aplazó la cita un dia, me comuniqué con la propiedad para mirar la posibilidad de cambiar la reserva para el día siguiente y la unica opción que me dieron es que volviera a pagar y me daban un descuento de $5000 pesos ( un poco mas de un dolar). Si bien es cierto es un negocio, deberían tener cierta consideración con los clientes pues fue un asunto imprevisto y además tenian la disponibilidad de alojamiento.
