"really helpful staff. offered recommendations for evening meal. room very spacious and spotless. beds very comfortable and lovely linen. tea coffee and little treats. very quiet at night. breakfast amazing. have to say best breakfast i have had in a very long time. would highly recommend and wiuld love to come back to this beautiful area"

"Sadly our room wasn’t great (304). The duvet and pillows were both incredibly uncomfortable/hard. The bed was a queen not a double so very small for a comfortable stay. There was a lot of noise, people walking above us would shake the light fitting with every step. Lots of noise outside early morning refuse collection. The weirdest thing though was that the light switch for the bathroom was just outside the bathroom door (fine) but if you turned it on, it also turned on another light in the main room so if you went at night time, the whole room was lit up. Staff on reception and at breakfast were friendly and professional and the two staff who were running the bar for our private family function were also superb. Sadly, the gentlemen running the main bar were incredibly rude and made us feel uncomfortable. Which is a shame, and but at all what you expect when staying away. "

"There was a warm welcome in the pub before being shown to the separate, quiet accommodation. What a lovely surprise to find a slightly separated dining/drinks area in the room, and an astonishing view right across the Vale of Evesham to Bredon Hill! It was even possible to park my (small) car right outside the French windows. Also, this location was immediately next to paths that lead straight to the Malvern Hills' most distinctive views. This isn't a mainstream hotel with liveried butlers and room service: but, for proximity to charm, it would be hard to beat. I'll be back. "

"Room wasn't very clean, TV was tiny, tea facilities in wardrobe with no light and clearly there used to be a fridge but removed - Very disappointing. Spa was packed, no beds inside, jets area inside only a 1/3 of it worked. Breakfast was disappointing. I had 2 nights booked but didnt bother staying the second night. Wish I had saved the money and stayed in the Premier Inn behind it."

"Organised a surprise birthday party in the Abbott room-staff were excellent from start to finish. Good prices, food and service. Stayed two nights in a spacious room which was quiet at night considering the room overlooked Friar St. Had a wonderful weekend and will be back."

"Room was advertised to have breakfast included. What a misleading, dishonest statement by the hotel. On arrival I was advised the breakfast was a continental with fresh pastries. Not so. Pastries were thawed out frozen items. Mostly inedible. An OJ, yoghurt, small amount of fresh milk, boring corn flakes. Not even additional tea or coffee sachets. IF THE BREAKFAST IS CONTINENTAL IT NEEDS TO BE HONESTLY DISCLOSED IN THE HOTEL INFORMATION SO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS CAN MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE. I never choose continental. I surely will never choose or recommend this hotel. What a very unpleasant experience."
