"Great place to stay in York as it’s literally minutes from the Shambles and all the amenities around them along with York Minster. Plus a walkable distance from the train station, around 15 minutes "

"Very friendly staff and efficient check in. Excellent location. We had a room with an amazing view of York Minster. It was up 38 steps ( no lift to this part of the hotel) but the view made the climb worth it. Quiet despite its central location. Lovely breakfast, again with views of the Minster. Would stay again. "Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom needs updating- no toilet roll holder. Plenty of sockets as well as USB ports. The building is 2 floors with no lift. Plenty of parking. Great location to get to Bridlington. We ate at the pub 4 times. 2 breakfasts which you had a decent choice although the orange juice was was quite watery. 2 evening meals which were nice but they were running out of items quite early and for a bank holiday it seemed that they hadn’t prepared for the amount of people. Staff were friendly."
