"Summit Lake is absolutely beautiful, but it got busy with motor boats in the afternoon while we were there. We used the hosts’s tandem kayak and swam a little, which was a lot of fun. The toilet wasn’t hard to use but it was hard to wait for the long burning cycle in between goes with two people needing the bathroom. One of the sofa beds is very short. If you’re taller than 5’ 2”, you can’t comfortably sleep in it. Yvonne is friendly, and very responsive and helpful."

"We really enjoyed our time. We came with my adult sons and 94 year old MIL and it was really lovely. The house is loaded with entertainment options and we didn't even have time to use them all. As a wonderful surprise, they have chickens. My kids grew up with them so getting to visit with them was so much fun. The view was amazing and I especially enjoyed taking my coffee up to the tree house and sitting on that deck right above the water. The dog sculpture next to the doc totally faked us out and made us laugh. The owner was easy to contact with questions and very gracious. We hope to return there in the future."

"Highly recommend this hotel for peace and relaxation. There were only a few people staying there during my visit (mid-week) and I pretty much had the place to myself. Restroom in the common area was not an issue at all. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Loved the setting and decor. Owners have done a great job fixing it up in the short time that it's been open and will continue to expand amenities and make improvements."

"I absolutely loved my stay here! We booked at the last minute and arrived late at night, the host came out to personally greet us with smile and show us around. It didn't feel like checking into a hotel—it felt like being welcomed into someone's elegant and beautiful home. That level of hospitality made such a wonderful first impression. From the moment we walked in, everything felt cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Every detail throughout the hotel reflects the care and passion that went into creating such a unique place. One of my favorite parts was discovering all the little extras the hotel offers. There's a fun game room, a wonderful collection of books to read, postcards you can send to your loved ones, and a world map where guests can place a pin to show where they're from. These thoughtful touches make the stay feel interactive and personal. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented with fresh fruit, pastries, and juice. It was the perfect way to start the day. The bathroom was elegant and spotless, and there's even a fun little riddle hidden there for guests to solve. It was such a unique surprise and added to the experience. The decor and architecture are stunning, with so much character and charm. Every corner has something interesting to discover, making the hotel feel warm, peaceful, and unforgettable. Pictures simply don't do it justice—you have to experience it for yoursel"
