"The Holiday Inn had everything we needed for a one-night stay near Southend. The staff were great, room was very clean and overall, the Hotel had a relaxed, friendly vibe about it. I would definitely stay there again when visiting the area."

"The hotel was lovely, beautiful location and surrounding. Unfortunately there was wedding, birthday parties and event on and the we felt the service was slow. It took a while for someone to come over to our table, or take orders. We had to go to the bar to order more drinks, everything just took so long. For dinner, had to ask 2 staff for mustard, and the steak sauce came as the steak was nearly finished. I can only assumed dues to the busy weekend that services was less attentive, but staff are polite and friendly, breakfast was fantastic and service were great. I would still recommend this hotel."
