"For a motel, this was such a pleasant surprise, modern, clean and well equipped. The only negative (that didn’t warrant a reduction in rating) was only one chair outside on the patio! I did scout the neighbours and managed to ‘obtain’ a second chair so we could sit outside and enjoy a nightcap!!!"

"We did enjoy our stay there at the lane retreat in hunter valley, however, I should mention something I didn’t quite like. I did write to them that my girlfriend is allergic to pumpkin seeds or pepitas and the granola we were given for breakfast had lots of them. I would have appreciated if someone have read the message and maybe picked a different type of granola or musli for us. I had to pick out every pumpkin seeds of the whole bag so she could eat too. Apart from that we loved everything...

"Set back from mcdonalds road so pretty quiet. We enjoyed the balcony and the view from it."

"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"This is the 3rd year staying here in October for my sons golf tournament. Got to see the owner around again. Well done to Dr Schwartz! Everything is clean and well maintained. There some amenities that were low, but as soon as we notified housekeeping it was all provided quite quickly. Even though i prefer carpet, love the new floorboards they put in. Place looks so refreshed. Kids activities were still the fav! Train rides, jumping castle and love the water park. Breakfast is always so good...

"We had the most amazing stay here in a 3 bedroom house. It was very large and great for entertaining as we also had some family staying at Peppers. Will be back again."

"Clean room and parking out the front of our room with secure security gates"

"Location perfect for me. Restaurant very good. No trouble parking, even at night when restaurant filled up."

"Last minute booking and couldn’t have been happier. Great property - comfortable, spacious apartment with everything! Loved having coffee maker! Comfy beds, great shower. Friendly check in by Layla on arrival. Great stay"

"Pro: Front desk staff was very nice and friendly man. Room is clean, no bad smell with clean towels. Walking distance to shops and restaurants Cons: Not suitable for smokers, have to go out of hotel around the corner. Cleaner was banging on door with cart at 9.30am asking us to leave. If you coming to enjoy wineries, better to book out of town. This was last min plan otherwise I prefer out of town."

"トリプルでお願いしたのにタオルなど２人分になっていた"

"Fantastic place. Even a tidy breakfast waiting in the morning."
