"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Macau. The hotel is beautiful, full of character, and located in a perfect location right in the heart of the city. If you’re looking for a charming hotel away from the large casino resorts and their crowds, this is an excellent choice. It was surprisingly quiet, and I enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep.
My room was spectacular, with a spacious bathroom and a large shower. I loved the design and finishes throughout the hotel, which preserve a lot of its historic character. The complimentary minibar was a lovely touch, and the coffee was delicious. The view over the town was also fantastic.
The traditional Macau breakfast was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of my stay. The western breakfast, however, was disappointing and could be improved.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The waitress at breakfast provided excellent service, and the housekeeping lady was especially kind, helpful, and spoke better English than many of the other staff members.
The only downside was my check-in experience. The front desk employee who assisted me upon arrival was somewhat rude, and communication was difficult because some staff members did not speak English very well.
Overall, despite a few service issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel’s charm, location, comfort, and unique character make it a place I would happily recommend and visit again."
