  • One church you should not miss is the elegant 1363 Armenian Cathedral with its ancient-feeling interior. The placid cathedral courtyard is a maze of arched passageways and squat buildings festooned with intricate Caucasian detail. Stepping into the courtyard feels like entering another era – gravestones bearing inscriptions in the 54 letters of the Armenian alphabet pave the floor.   • Lovely view of old Lviv from the top of the tower in the center of Ploscha Rynok. That's the Latin Cathedral, one of the oldest still-active churches in the city. To climb the tower, go up the first four flights of stairs to the ticket desk. The way is clearly marked with signs in multiple languages, including English. At the desk, pay 10 hrivna and then keep climbing up, up, and up until you reach the open deck at the top of the tower. Then enjoy the view!

  • Located on St. George Hill, over-looking the city of Lviv, the church was the perfect target for destruction in the past. At least two versions of the St. George Cathedral were built before the final construction of the church as it is seen today. The Cathedral of St. George became the mother congregation of the Greek-Catholic religion in Ukraine. The St. George Cathedral in Lviv, is home to one of the most treasured relics, which was brought to the cathedral by Bishop Jiseph Shumlianskyi in 1674. It is the Icon of the Virgin Mary, and is a spectacular and preserved artifact. The interior was decorated with luxurious embellishments created by the local artistic talents of Lviv. Pinsel, the sculptor of the cathedral, created the spectacular St. George (known as the Dragon Slayer) statue. The St. George statue can be viewed in the attic of the cathedral, while the intimidating statues of St. Athanasius and St. Leo protect the portal. Renovations to the St. George Cathedral took place in the 1996, restoring the original beauty of the cathedral. Tourists, visiting this amazing historical masterpiece will not be disappointed. Over and above the cathedral, visitors can also visit the belfry, walk through the peaceful gardens or enter the final resting place of many important figures of the past in the tombs below the cathedral.

The breakfast had an amazing variety of food. All of it delicious. The room was great, although too warm at times. However we had a door to the balcony to cool down. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Perfect place to base our visit to Lviv.

Good Comfortable hotel

Have stayed here many times, and the place is still as good as it always has been. Pleasant and relaxed staff, decent restaurant and bar upstairs with views of the city. Easy parking.

I would give this property a 10 out of ten, if it wasn't for the initial cold reception I received from the front desk staff at check-in and subsequent interactions. Everything I rated about the rooms, comfort, convenience and cleanliness of the hotel were a 10 for me. The food and breakfast buffet were delicious. When I arrived, as a solo female Canadian traveling during wartime, I would have thought that the staff checking me in would have been friendlier and even offered me a map of Lviv. I felt uncomfortable to the point that I decided to mention this to the Hotel Manager, Andriy. He was very receptive to my comments and listened as well as apologized. Afterwards, the attitude of the staff did change towards me and I felt more welcomed. It's just a shame I had to point it out. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely. And if they don't greet you with a smile, let them know! After all, this is the hospitality industry.

I really enjoyed staying at Loft 7. The only wish i would like to have iron and iron board inside the room and do not call every time i need to the receptionist to bring it to the room.

Nice modern hotel

It was a good short stay. Place it totally new so I guess staff is still figuring out how some things work. Otherwise room is nice and specious. No nice window view but who cares if the shopping mall is just around the corner.

to stay in a hotel on some weekends to relax and get away is a luxury. Couldn’t FaceTime with my family back home. Because of this i will not stay again

Nice Hotel, close to center and next to a nice shopping center. Very nice breakfast is served, unfortunately it only start serving late from 8 AM, Evening restaurant good and service very nice. Very nice rooms, but Clima system had problem to get the temperature lover than 25 C, maybe because it was 30 Degrees outside. No international news channels like BBC, CNN or other mayer channels would be nice to have, especially when you in a Country that is on War. Will properly be back again.

Otel temizdi.. çalışanlar güleryüzlüydü. Odalar soğuktu klima en son 25 derece ayarlı olduğu söylendi soğuk bir ülkeye göre odalar soğuktu.kahvaltının da odaya dahil olduğu söylenmedi. Sorduktan sonra söylendi. Son gün kahvaltı yapmak istediğimiz de servisin 11 de başlayacağı söylendi. İlk gün uçak inemedi istanbula geri döndü ikinci gün tekrar uçtu. Buna rağmen odamızı bekletmeleri güzeldi.Gold üye olmama rağmen hiç bir ayrıcalık görmedim. Her yere yürüyüş mesafesinde bir otel

Très bien

4 nuits passées dans cet hôtel qui est tout neuf. Les prestations sont de qualité. Ma chambre était très spacieuse et joliment décorée. Literie et douche au top. Le restaurant situé au dernier étage (8eme) affiche sur superbe vue à 360 degré sur la ville. Le petit déjeuner est complet et traditionnel. Je reviendrai avec plaisir dans cet hôtel.
