"NOTE: ADULTS ONLY !!! Booked this resort 5 hours before our planned departure due to a scheduling issue at another resort. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, the resort is less than a year old very nice, fresh and clean. Staff were helpful and extremely kind the entire time we were there (8 Nights), Room was perfect, had a wonderful view of the east end of the island, into the ocean, unfortunately in the future this will disappear due to the construction of a family-oriented resort that will block the view. Buffet was wonderful a wide variety of food choices covering many specific types of diners. Dinner restaurants were nice, had a good variety, but could work on improving some of the flavors to enhance the overall taste enjoyment of the dish(es). Poolside bars were great to just swim up to and place your order. Only reason I did not give a full 5-star rating was due to a couple of times being overlooked by the staff to wait on larger parties, my guess expecting larger tips. Need to work on that to truly become a 5-star rated resort. Remember when booking, this resort it is a 40-to-50-minute drive to the developed end of the island and taxi costs can be from $40 to $60 each way, if looking to explore they do have on site car rental available for 1 to 2 days. Remember to bring your sunscreen and other toiletries with you, because the sole store at the resort is not budget friendly. We would definitely recommend checking this resort out."

"Wonderful place to stay! Enjoyed having my coffee in the serene back patio every morning. Frank was wonderful and took the time to stop and give us all the tips on local restaurants and activities we could partake in. Great place to stay! Not crazy busy like the other part of the island, safe and quiet location, small grocery store 1/2 block away, baby beach short drive away. We would come back here again anytime. "

"Check-in is easy. Owner friendly & informative about property. Non public beach & dock shared with other renters was very nice & a great spot to see the sunset. There were fish jumping after sunset. I saw a stingray from deck early one morning. Flying Fishbone is right next to apartments. So you will hear & see the customers. The owners offered discount to eat there. There were kayaks & other beach things like sand toys & floats to use. Outside shower to rinse off. There is no hot water but it was still a comfortable temperature to shower. There was a stovetop, microwave, small fridge/freezer & coffee maker in our room & another shared kitchen if needed for more cooking items. There is parking on site. The best snorkeling we found is at Mangel Halto beach which is a 6 minute drive. If you like horseback riding, Rancho Loco (16 min drive) does rides to Conchi Natural Pool in Arikok Nat’l Park & have fun friendly staff. The horses are well kept & trained."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was great from contact with the host Dan after booking and Fiar, who gave us local suggestions for eating, beaches and activities! Thank you Fiar! We especially enjoyed La Tavola de Ozzie’s pizza! The cottage was perfectly situated for driving north to the sandy beaches of Arashi and Eagle Beach, but also for going south to the beautiful murals, Baby Beach or Rodgers beach! We loved snorkeling in the waters in front of the cottages, using the floaties, or watching the sun set from the shady tables on the beach edge. We will be back!! "

"10 out of 10! When we go back to Aruba someday, this is where we will stay. Arnold was fantastic to work with and his property is beautiful. I've stayed in a lot of rental homes over the years but this one was by far the best. It was like our own little resort. It is in the quieter part of the Island, away from most of the busy resorts. We really liked this. We rented a car and anytime we were up in the North part of the Island or Oranjestad, we couldn't wait to get back to our home in San Nicolas. We tried many beaches and our favorite was Baby Beach, 5 minutes away. We usually drove there so we didn't have to lug all of our stuff. Make sure to snorkel in the "snorkel lane", which if looking towards the Ocean is to your upper left. It is like a lazy river for snorkeling. This home was so well stocked. From paper towels to toilet paper to beach towels. I highly recommend renting here! You will not regret it!"
