"Worth the money"

"We would like to give a shout out to the front staff, especially Priscilla, and Charles who genuinely cared about their guests, and manager Harvey, who did everything he could to make things happen. Would we come back, you betcha, any day. The only complaint is, that they need to get better chicken sausages."

"My room wasn’t ready so I was upgraded to a pool side room for $25 more a night. The room was small and well worn. The mattress cover at the base of the mattress was torn and haphazardly on the bed. The curtains were torn off the hooks. Furniture was chipped and glass tops cracked. The hinges on the dresser were unhinged. Room was clean. Staff was nice. The cityscape bar had a gorgeous view and great staff. The panna cotta was divine. Items in the store were obscenely overpriced. If it weren’t for a conference I would not have stayed at the property and don’t anticipate returning. "

"Only thing I don’t like was housekeeping walking to go out room at 8 when check out wasn’t until noon . If I didn’t check out the room they shouldn’t be walking in at 8 am"

"Great hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms with comfortable beds, swimming pool fabulous. However tenderloin area a bit dodgy, and sauna was never on and did not warm up fast enough to be used. Steam room was not working and was not fixed."

"Super clean and budget friendly option. The location is a bit sketchy but there’s always a security guard on the lobby. I would definitely recommend it if you don’t mind being in close quarters with the people you are traveling with."

"This hotel is dated and not worth the price that they charge. Had to have them fix the toilet twice and have them fix the sink because it wasn’t draining. The sink shouldn’t have drainage issues at this price and management should check these things. Wallpaper peeling. I get that it’s a historic hotel but I would stay somewhere else. Old school charm is fine but not at their rates. Time has passed this hotel by."
