Al despertar al día siguiente y salir de la cama vimos que las sábanas tenían manchas de los huéspedes anteriores. El lavamanos e inodoro no estaban limpios, los paños usados. En resumen, la habitación no fue limpiada. Una experiencia muy desagrable. Reportamos lo ocurrido a nuestro contacto, y decidimos abandonar el hotel y buscar otro...

"Baliyana Lodge is a slice of paradise - beautifully landscaped grounds among the native trees on a hillside overlooking a valley towards the ocean. Remote but only 15 mins to the beach and 25 mins to Tamarindo. The hosts could not have been nicer, wonderful, healthy breakfast included, quiet, peaceful and serene location. "Location was good, looked forward to it. But the place was completely unacceptable. Everything was filthy. No dish towels to contemplate cleaning the dirty dishes. That didn't matter much, the fridge wouldn't cool anything. Sinks were filthy. Shower area filthy. Weird electrical buzzing noise. Air conditioning was useless. Doesn't matter, the second bed in the main living area was impossible to even attempt to cool as there was no way to close the windows completely in all but the bedroom. There...

"I’m not sure I can say enough good things about this magical place. The cabin was perfectly clean and had absolutely everything one could hope for. Everything was as depicted in the pictures and just a true pleasure of a space. The AC in the bedrooms was a huge plus for travelers coming from cold climates. The kitchen and its amenities were a huge class as well, and it had every convenience who could hope for, for easy cooking. The location is truly beautiful. It really is right in the beach...
