    Our two bedroom and two bath ground level home offers you a light, bright and airy transitional floorplan. Our home has totally been renovated, including features such all new kitchen, appliances, quartz countertops and island. Spacious living room offering a king sleeper sofa, open dining room, laundry room with washer and dryer. The primary bedroom offers a King bed and all new private bathroom walk-in shower, tile floor and tile surround in the shower. Bedroom two offers a Queen bed with full bathroom with tub and shower comb, all new furnishings throughout.
    Come enjoy outdoor living with community amenities such as heated pool, tennis courts and private white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico sunsets.

Perfect for a girls’ getaway!

The condo unit, location, grounds, shuffleboard, pool, really short walk to the beach with beach chairs, and tennis courts were perfect for our girls’ getaway. We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at this beautiful property, along with a 2-mile walk in the sun to the Turtle Bar coffee shop. We’d love to stay here again!

The management notified us prior to arrival of broken table top that was damaged by the guest that had just checked out. Great Vacation Spot!

We had a great time while we were here! It was quiet and relaxing-just what we were looking for. The condo itself is beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was next to our patio and was very nice. The beach was about 50 yards away-a short walk along the pathway. The resort has beach chairs at the beach already so you just need to grab a chair and pick your spot. We will be coming back again sometime.

Fantastic Family Vacation.

We loved the accommodations. Everything was provided. Clean, very comfortable, newly renovated. Spent everyday at the beach which wasn't crowded at all. Lounge chairs were provided. Beach water was wonderful, clear, perfect temperature. The pool was a little too warm but everything else was great. We hope to return.

Beach trip for the Senior Sisterhood

Relaxing, fun. Condo was gorgeous… furnishing comfortable and very nice. Ample room for 4 women. That unit is an easy walk to get additional ice (or laundry mat which we didn’t need - already in condo) or office, recycling, pool… everything! Highly recommend-

Very friendly and professional management. We will book again for sure.Only the garbage container being in plain sight and not hidden is a real eyesore. But that should be a quick fix.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year at Sand Cay Beach Resort and already booked for next year. We love the closeness to the pool and beach. Several places to eat at Longboat Key, Bradenton, Anna Maria and St. Armands . Also, so close do get to. We ate at The Columbia restaurant in St. Armand’s. We also are at Freckled Fin Irish Pub in Holmes Beach, the Lazy Lobster in Longboat Key, and Oma’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant. Everything we had was great! We also went on a sunset cruise on the Fun Boat and had a great time. Captain Jeb and Christina were great and we also saw dolphins.

We have 2 little girls (3 and 5), so the proximity to the pool and ease of walking outside was perfect. The bathtub did not hold the tub water, and I was surprised at how quickly the office sent someone to fix it. The unit was super clean and very comfortable. I do think the couch could use some sort of coffee table/ottoman to put your feet up. And I did miss not having a blender for smoothies/blended beach drinks. Overall very very nice and we hope to come back!

Great, updated condo!

Recently stayed for a week with my spouse and parents. The unit has been recently remodeled and is very clean and current. We have stayed in various units in the Sand Cay property previously and would choose this unit again. The only hiccup was re: the Wifi. The unit did not have a "binder" that was apparently supposed to be provided with various information such as the wifi code in the unit. We finally located the router and password in the secondary bedroom so it ultimately was not an issue but it would be helpful for this (and the mentioned binder) to more easily accessible. Otherwise, great unit, great vacation, and would absolutely return!

Mixed feelings

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Prior to arrival, I called to see if there was early check-in available as the room was not booked the previous night. I was told the earliest possible would be 1:00. When I arrived at 11:30, I was advised the room wasn’t available as maintenance had to do a room check. I wanted to be there for as close to possible to a 1:00 check-in and was hoping my early arrival would prioritize me in the process. Unfortunately, there’s no consideration for guests that arrive early and are waiting for their room. Another guest arrived at 2:00 and was able to access his room immediately while I still had to wait for my room. It makes zero business sense to not prioritize room checks for guests waiting in person over those rooms who don’t have guests waiting. I had previously explained we were part of a large group renting 5 rooms, had food in our car, had an infant baby, and the office staff not only didn’t care, but was dismissive of our party’s conversation when another guest entered the office. I would have been willing to pay a small fee to check in early, but I at least thought once I arrived I would have been given priority of a room check over a guest who isn’t there and might not check in until 6:00. The room and accommodations itself were nice and clean, other than the pull out couch wouldn’t comfortable sleep two people, so the advertising of sleeps 6 is misleading. But our first impression with the office staff was unfavorable and started our vacation on a sour note. Our group will consider other resorts for future vacations because of this issue and how this was handled by a staff member.

Reviewer Comments: Have been coming to this property for years and love the location and amenities. This year sod work was being completed which caused a bit of a challenge if you wanted to be polite and not walk on the prepped area but was minimal. One night our neighbors were a bit loud and it was rather late however it is a holiday weekend. Suggest there be someone to answer the phone line more often as getting through to a live person is a challenge. Have asked for the office to ask an owner if they wished to reduce the five day rental to 4 days however have not heard back after three days

Great stay and time at Sand Cay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third year staying at unit #111 and we love the place. Quiet and homey. The pool is very nice and beach is a 5 minute walk and nice. Several places to eat in Longboat Key and also in St. Armand Circle. We also enjoyed going to Bradenton. All in all everything was great and no complaints.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was recently renovated. We liked the fit and finish a lot. The location right next to the pool was not ideal for anyone desiring some privacy even on the patio. Even the parking spot was pretty far away if you had to unload bags or groceries. We had a few minor gripes, like the Wi-Fi name and password were NOT on the back of the door. We had to find the modem in the spare bedroom and look on the back of it, which was a big hassle. We took a sheet of paper and put that info in the three ring binder next to the TV. The kitchen had non stick pans but no plastic spatula, which makes you use a metal one scratching the pans. There was a salt shaker, no pepper, and no other spices. Also one annoying thing was the unit had one of those automatic air fresheners on top of credenza. This thing went off every 30 minutes or so and it took us a day to figure out what it was. Not sure if it was dispensing anything or just making noise.
