"Hotel dated, toilet paper thin and cheap bathroom not clean, this hotel has gone down hill not worth the money staff in restaurant so slow on service "

"Clean hotel, good location. Only down sides are the on site parking is no longer free and the matress is a little hard for my liking."

"Sadly I did not have the best experience whilst staying here. Firstly there was very loud party music being played late at night in the garden beneath my room window despite there being no one there. I tried to call reception to ask them what time it would be switched off but my room phone wasn’t working. I then left a message on my booking page, no response. I then found the hotel number to ring from my mobile but the website stated they were closed so I wasn’t sure I would get a response. Someone thankfully did answer, I told them about the music and they said they would switch it off, which they did. I do think the staff forgot to switch it off and had I not called it would have continued right through the night! Shower did not drain so I needed to keep switching it off to allow draining to avoid floods. I tried to make a cup of tea but the milk in the fridge was 3 days out of date so I couldn’t use that. Overall not the best stay! :( "

"Noisy building work and builders with radio on loud outside room from 7.30 am. Nothing said about same at check in. Room tired and furniture damaged. Windows couldn't be opened and bathroom quarter light had to be wedged open with a toilet roll. Towel rail hanging off wall and grouting dirty. "

"Lovely staff, gorgeous suite and beautiful spread for breakfast. Loved our stay and we would definitely use it again. "
