Comfort Inn Matthews - Charlotte
8/10 Good
"Decent and affordable hotel for a quick stay. Staff was friendly, beds were comfy, amenities were OK, plenty of free parking, very close to restaurants and retail, quiet area. My only issue with the room was the bathroom door didn’t close/lock, the toilet didn’t flush well, and there were spots or mold around the shower ceiling and over the bathroom door. Granted, it was a busy football weekend with quick turnover, so maybe they were able to inspect and wipe down the bathrooms thoroughly? Overall, good stay."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Charlotte University Place, NC

Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte University Place
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was kind and helpful. We were in town for a concert and got to check in early to get ready. Clean, newly-renovated, spacious room. Great water pressure. Very good breakfast. Had biscuit/gravy, scrambled eggs, fried cubed potatoes, apple juice. Gated parking area with easy access to side door. If ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again! **If one thing to suggest for an update, it would be a toilet that doesn’t sit so close to the floor. My husband is 6’2” and it was unusually difficult for him to use."
