"Although the accommodation was clean and comfortable, (the loo serving 3 rooms was tiny) the owner has rules which he outlines immediately eg shoes off, cars parked in a certain way, breakfast between 8 and 815. He also has particular views about society and politics which he is very ready to share, most of which we disagreed with. We found him to be too forthright and it generated some tensions. If you like politics, military history and conspiracy theories, this place is for you."

"The property was nice and clean. It is not a stand alone property. It's in a building with other commercial space and there are 2 separate entries, depending on your unit #. Otherwise, no issues."

"Dante’s 3rd level of hell was colder than our room. For some unknown reason room 27 is made for lava lovers. The temp was boiling and no A/C even pretending to work. The front desk couldn’t explain it (nor cared much about our heat stroke), the windows could only be opened a crack. Even the “cold” water was hot, and the hot was scalding. Bar food, was bland and the service was lacking in any sense of urgency or accuracy. Waited 45 mins for our completed order only to be missing the chips...

"Property is secluded from the main house and beside a pub underneath that just serves 4 expensive things for dinner only there is no other amenities in this place. The room is big and beautiful but nothing else is going on."

"The room was extremely clean and the sheets on the bed were high quality. The owner was very nice and polite."

"Outside does not due the hotel justice, our room had been updated, food great, friendly staff. Outside needs updating."
